Cold Sore Halted - 02/10/2009

Lydia has always sufferd from cold sores from a very young age. They have always been particuarly nasty with the virus often making the whole side of her face feel like a `cheese grater`, very tender and sore!

That was up until recently, when after an MLD treatment and a cold sore appearing it stopped tingling didn`t get worse and then disappeared.

She cannot believe it, it has been remarkable! The only thing she was doing different was having MLD treatment for sinsues and after that half hour treatment the cold sore went.

She is over the moon! And hopes more people who suffer can read this and get help!

WHY DID IT GO?

The cold sore virus lays dormant in the lower layers of the epidermis in the skin.

The lymphatic system which is the immune system lays directly underneath the skin and when stimulated helps the body to fight infection more effectively.

The manual lymphatic drainage massage would have encouraged the body to fight the virus, preventing it spreading and getting worse.
